MARTIN COUNTY — County Attorney Sarah Woods handed the outgoing county administrator tissues Tuesday as she formally announced her retirement to the County Commission.
Taryn Kryzda, the county’s longest-serving administrator with 11 years in the position, grew emotional as she reflected on her tenure. She’s been a county employee for almost 35 years and is to retire at the end of June
“I’ve spent more than half of my life here, which is hard to say. But Martin County’s been good to me,” Kryzda, 64, told the commission.
